As a lot of you know who have stayed with us over the years that a Stone's Throw was our first endeavor for welcoming people to our unique and beautiful town.

Index is unique in the way it takes you back in time, and it's hard to believe a small town like this still exists. It has a view that's unquestionable and rare.

Our B & B has opened again (2012) after a hiatus of about 10 years. We had so many people calling and stopping in to see if they can stay at A Stone's Throw that it was decided to re-open our home to guests.

There are many times people are just passing through and when they see Index they want to stay for a night, and our B & B is available for just one night or several nights as the case may be as of June 2012.

Our home was built in 1900 and we have done our best to decorate in the style that fits the early 1900's era (with updates of electrical and plumbing of course).

The B & B accommodates two (2) people and you have the whole upstairs of the house to yourself.

Your bedroom is fitted with a queen size iComfort Mattress & Tempurpedic Pillows and you don't even have to get out of bed to view Mt Index. As a matter of fact, you won't want to get out of bed.

Your private bath comes with an old claw foot tub, with a yet another view of Mt Index and some of the garden, but for adventurous who prefer to shower, we have a private outside shower that is just heavenly.

Did I forget to mention that you have views, views, views?

Our garden is quite extensive and you have so many places to sit and just enjoy the beauty or read or "just be".  We also rent out our garden area for small gatherings and weddings.

Rates are $120.00 per night plus tax.

A nominal $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required in the event of a cancellation. This will be deducted from your full payment, once full payment is received.
